Short Biography
Cynthia received most of her technical training from her father, a fine art photographer by hobby for many years. Her passion is black and white fine art photography, with an emphasis on landscapes, botanical portraits, and indigenous architecture. Many of her subjects are captured on black and white and infrared film, and then dramatically altered in the darkroom using various flashing, fogging, bleaching, and toning techniques to create a final print that can look radically different from the original negative.
Cynthia has lived in Tucson, Arizona since her family moved here in 1974.
